Os TheGodiva formaram-se em 1999. Desde essa data até à actualidade passaram por muitas mudanças quer ao nível da formação, quer de sonoridade. O primeiro registo dos TheGodiva, em formato promo-CD, data de 2000 e intitula-se "Tales to Be Untold". O ano de 2002 coincidiu com o lançamento do segundo registo dos TheGodiva, e o primeiro com produção profissional, intitulado "Traces of Irony". Actualmente, a banda encontra-se a promover o EP "Spiral", registo de 2007, gravado e produzido nos Ultrasound Studios por Daniel Cardoso, enquanto prepara já o próximo trabalho que, esperamos, venha a ser o primeiro album da banda, a ser editado em finais de 2009 ou início de 2010. Entretanto aguardamos por uma possível editora que nos auxilie a atingir os nossos objectivos.

TheGodiva gathered in 1999. Since then 'till now, the band's line up and sonority suffered several shifts. The first recording of TheGodiva was released in 2000, a promoCD intitled "Tales to Be Untold". In 2002, TheGodiva released a new work, the first with professional production, a EP intitled "Traces of Irony". In present time, the band is promoting it's latest work, a EP intitled "Spiral", released in late 2007, while is already preparing it's next work that, hopefully, will become the band's first full-lenght albun, to be released somewhere between late 2009 and early 2010. Meanwhile, the band is waiting for some label that want to work with us and help us to achive our intents.
